Cases Scheduled for Commission Hearing for Thursday, April 15, 2021

Below is a preliminary list of cases schedule to be heard at this OCC hearing. A party desiring to use projection equipment at the hearing shall contact Florene Davidson, OCD Clerk, no later than seven (7) business days prior to the hearing.

1. 20571 Approve drilling the Bullseye Federal SWD Well #1 as a salt water disposal well to inject produced water into the Silurian-Devonian formation
2. 20572 Approve drilling the Carpet Bomb Federal SWD Well #1 as a salt water disposal well for the purpose of operating a salt water disposal well to inject produced water into the Silurian-Devonian formation
3. 20574 Approve drilling the Vortex Federal SWD Well #1 in Section 1, T24S, R32E, as a salt water disposal well for the purpose of operating a produced water disposal well to inject produced water into the Silurian-Devonian formation
4. 21233 Please see attached Application for DeNovo Hearing filed by the State Land Office in Case No. 20961, Order No. R-21196.
5. 21475 This is a de novo hearing application filed with the Commission from Order No. R-21435 issued in Case No. 21355. Order R-21435 granted the application of Catena Resources Operating, LLC for compulsory pooling, Lea County, New Mexico pooling all uncommitted interests in the Wolfcamp formation underlying a standard 640-acre, more or less, horizontal spacing unit comprised of the E/2 of Sections 20 and 29, Township 18 South, Range 35 East, Lea County, New Mexico. Said area is located approximately 21 miles West of Hobbs, New Mexico.
6. 21744 Application of Cimarex Energy Co. for Hearing De Novo of Case No. 21629. The New Mexico Oil Conservation Division issued Order No. R-21575 in Case No. 21629. Magnum Hunter Production, Inc., an affiliate of Cimarex Energy Co. (collectively referred to herein as “Cimarex”) owned a working interest in the unit pooled by Order No. R-21575, issued pursuant to a hearing held before the Division on January 7, 2021. Cimarex, a party of record adversely affected by Order No. R-21575, requests that the matter raised in this case be heard de novo before the Oil Conservation Commission pursuant to NMSA 1978, §70-2-13.
