Raptors of New Mexico Raptors of New Mexico Foundation (RNMF) currently houses educational birds and helps with wild bird rescue. RNMF does programs all over New Mexico at State Parks, National Wildlife Refuges, Public Schools, Public Libraries and other venues. At this presentation you will meet three live birds-of-prey and learn about the importance of raptors in our ecosystems. Also, you will learn what humans can do to help conserve these wild neighbors!

Kids Fishing Clinic Come out to Oasis State Park on April 25, 2026, for the Kids' Fishing Clinic! This event will include learning stations for Fly Tying, Rods and Reels, Casting, Cleaning Fish, Fish Handling, and more! Ages 6 to 17 are invited to attend. The workshop will start at 8:30 a.m. and run til 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided by the Friends of Oasis and there will be door prizes as well! We ask that each child bring 2 canned food items to benefit the Eastern New Mexico Food Bank. The per vehicle fee for out of state attendees is $10. New Mexico resident fees are waived as per the new fee schedule that started in January 2025.

All ages are invited to attend. No pets will be allowed at this event.
