Fall Festival Join us for our annual Fall Festival. This year our theme is herpetology. There will be citizen science projects, presentations, guided walks, hands-on activities, live animals and more! $5 parking fee per vehicle.

Fall Festival It's that time of year again for the Rio Grande Nature Center's annual Fall Festival. This year we will be hosting a herpetology themed BioBlitz, have speakers with backgrounds in turtles, snakes and leopard frogs. We will have walks including our weekly bird walk, a animal tracking walk and a ribbit refuge tour. Don't miss this family friendly event happening Sunday, September 20, 2026!
