Join us for a night of star gazing. Members from the Astronomical Society of Las Cruces will operate a 16" telescope to view amazing night sky objects. Through several telescopes you will see nebulae, globular clusters, star clusters, planetary nebulae, galaxies and more! Show starts at sunset located at the Observatory - next to the visitor center parking lot. $5 per vehicle park entrance fee.

The Friends Group will host the boil at the Logan Civic Center, 901 Martinez Street, Logan, New Mexico on February 11, 2023, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Tickets are limited to 300, so get yours ASAP! Find a Friends Group member or DM the Friends Group Facebook to purchase a ticket. The tickets are $15.00 for singles and $25.00 for couples. Live Birds of Prey
Join us in the Chihuahuan Desert Garden to meet a hawk, owl, and vulture in person! New Mexico Raptors was created in 2006 by wildlife educator, Laura McCann. This non-profit organization is dedicated to teaching New Mexicans about wildlife conservation and the importance of raptors in our environment. NMR does live birds-of-prey presentations throughout the state with injured non-releasable birds that are native to the Land of Enchantment. Please bring your own chair.
