16th Anniversary & Cerrillos Fiesta
Join us for a fun-filled day packed with activities to celebrate the park's 16th anniversary and the annual Cerrillos village Fiesta. The Amigos de Cerrillos Hills State Park has organized a great lineup of offerings including: 8am - hike the park with NM Pack Burros 11am - hot dog cookout at the visitor center 1pm - grab some cake at the visitor center 2pm - Live Raptors program at the visitor center Throughout the day there will also be live music, games, and art vendors.

Moon Hike
Join this guided hike and learn interesting lunar facts and folklore. We will also take time to observe the moon through the park's spotting telescope. The hike begins promptly at 7:00 PM.
Fees: $5/vehicle $10/non-resident

Tarantula Hike
Spiders the size of donuts. Where are they going? What are they doing? Come find out on this creepy jaunt through the hills. Out of state visitors streamline your arrival, bring exact cash or check to pay the park fee of $10 per vehicle and follow the self-permit process. Free for New Mexico residents or with a valid New Mexico State Park pass.

Star Party
Experience the night sky above Cerrillos Hills State Park. Take in views of star clusters, nebulae, and distant galaxies. The park telescope will be set up across from the main park entrance in the vault toilet lot.  The program starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. A $10 per vehicle day use fee is required upon entry for non-New Mexico residents. Please bring exact cash or a check, or show a valid New Mexico State Parks annual pass or permit. Free entry for New Mexico residents!
Fees: out of state $10 per vehicle
