Habitat Helpers Celebrate Earth Day with the Habitat Helpers as we improve the native bosque habitat at the park. We'll tackle invasive plants and weeds, reintroduce native plants, remove vegetation that can fuel wildfires, add/repair fencing, and install signage. Meet up at the group shelter outside the Education Building, bring water, gloves, and wear closed-toe shoes. A $5 parking fee applies to all vehicles entering the park.

Citizen Science Day Join us with the Friends of the Rio Grande Nature Center for the City Nature Challenge and count and log macro-invertebrates found in our ponds. All ages and abilities welcome!
