Construction NM 475 through Hyde Park- There will be construction on NM 475 that may cause some disruption to camping and hiking near NM 475. Closure of NM 475 will begin near the middle of the park prior to Group Site #3, the Electric Camping loop, Yurt entrance and the exit to the main camping loop. NMDOT and the contractor will work with park visitors to allow access to campsites and Yurts. The Lodge parking will not be affected by these road closures. We will post more details as they become available to us.

Stage II Fire Restrictions: Building, maintaining, attending or using a fire, campfire, charcoal, coal, or wood stove is prohibited. The use of devices fueled solely by liquid petroleum or LPG fuels that can be turned on and off is allowed. Such devices can only be used in an area that is barren or cleared of all overhead and surrounding flammable materials within three (3) feet of the device. Smoking is prohibited, except within an enclosed vehicle or building.
