The Pine E Loop comfort station is closed due to vandalism and destruction of property. 7/27/2021 - ongoing


Seasonal Closures: Cedar and Juniper Campgrounds are closed seasonally from September 15 through May 15th. 9/15/2021 - 5/16/2022
Seasonal Closure: The upper loop at Sims Mesa Campground is seasonally closed from September 15th through May 15th. The main loop and day-use areas at Sims Mesa are open year-round. 9/15/2021 - 5/16/2022
Seasonal Closure: Access to the Pumphouse day-use parking area may be restricted based upon weather/road conditions. 9/15/2021 - 4/15/2022


Fireworks are always prohibited at Navajo Lake State Park. No Exceptions. 4/12/2019 - ongoing
The use of drones and model aircraft are prohibited at Navajo Lake State Park. 4/12/2019 - ongoing
The use of ATV/OHV's in the park is prohibited. All vehicle traffic must remain on established roadways. 5/14/2019 - ongoing
Stage II Fire Restrictions - Building, maintaining, attending or using a fire, campfire, charcoal, coal, or wood stove is prohibited. The use of devices fueled solely by liquid petroleum or LPG fuels that can be turned on and off is allowed. Such devices can only be used in an area that is barren or cleared of all overhead and surrounding flammable materials within three (3) feet of the device. Smoking is prohibited, except within an enclosed vehicle or building. 6/7/2021 - ongoing
