Below is a preliminary list of cases scheduled to be heard at this OCC hearing. 1. 25371 Coterra Energy Operating Co., formally named Cimarex Energy Co., requests a hearing de novo before the full Oil Conservation Commission to review the matter and proceedings involving Case Nos. 23448-23455, 23594-23601, and 23508-23523, and Order No. R-23089-A concerning competing applications covering Sections 4, 5, 8, and 9, Township 20 South, Range 34 East, NMPM, Lea County, New Mexico.
2. 24594 Application of Targa Midstream Services, LLC for Authorization to Inject, Lea County, New Mexico. Targa Midstream Services, LLC (“Targa”) (OGRID No. 24650) seeks authorization to drill and operate a Class II acid gas injection well, the Copperhead AGI No. 1 Well (“Well”), at Targa’s Copperhead Gas Processing Facility. The vertical well will be located approximately 793 feet from the south line and 429 feet from the east line in Section 13, Township 24 South, Range 32 East, Lea County, New Mexico. The Well will inject treated acid gas into the Devonian Thirtyone, Upper Silurian Wristen, and Lower Silurian Fusselman Formations at a depth of approximately 17,299 feet to 18,689 feet. The Well’s maximum daily injection rate will not exceed 26 million standard cubic feet per day, and the Well’s maximum surface injection pressure will not exceed 3,460 pounds per square inch gauge. The Well is located approximately 26 miles west of Jal, New Mexico.
3. 25237 Hearing Examiner Gregory Chakilian maliciously muted Ameican and silenced American right to defend and present its defense in protecting its interests and correlative rights, involving case no 24517.
