Marathon Oil Permian LLC requests an order pooling all uncommitted mineral interests within a Bone Spring horizontal spacing unit underlying the S/2 N/2 of Section 12, Township 23 South, Range 28 East and Section 7, Township 23 South, Range 29 East in Eddy County. Marathon proposes to dedicate the 320-acre, more or less, horizontal spacing unit to the Valkyrie 12 SB Federal Com 13H well. Also to be considered will be the cost of drilling and completing the well, the allocation of these costs as well as the actual operating costs and charges for supervision, the designation of Marathon as operator of the well, and a 200% charge for risk involved in drilling the well, and allowing a one-year period between when the well is drilled and when the well is completed. The area is located approximately 4 miles northeast of Loving, New Mexico.
