PRELIMINARY DOCKET: Examiner Hearing for Thursday, March 7, 2024

Applications for hearing shall be filed at least thirty (30) days in advance of the hearing date. A party who intends to present evidence shall file a pre-hearing statement no later than the close of business on the Thursday prior to the hearing date and serve a copy on the other parties, if any. 2. 23783 Application of MRC Permian Company for Approval of an Overlapping Horizontal Well Spacing Unit and Compulsory Pooling, Lea County, New Mexico. Applicant in the above-styled cause seeks an order (a) approving a standard 320-acre, more or less, horizontal well spacing unit in the Bone Spring formation underlying the E2E2 of Sections 16 and 21, Township 18 South, Range 34 East, NMPM, Lea County, New Mexico, and (b) pooling all uncommitted minerals owners in this horizontal well spacing unit. This unit will be initially dedicated to the proposed Iggles State Com 124H and Iggles State Com 134H wells to be horizontally drilled from surface locations in the SE4 of Section 21, with first take points in the SE4SE4 (Unit P) of Section 21 and last take points in the NE4NE4 (Unit A) of Section 16. Said unit will be initially dedicated to the proposed John Callahan Fed Com 158H well, to be horizontally drilled from a surface location in the in the SE4 of Section 21, with a first take point located in the SE4SE4 (Unit P) of Section 21 and a last take point located NE4NE4 (Unit A) of Section 16. Since the Division has informed Applicant that this well will be assigned to the LWR Bone Spring Pool (Code 98275) and the WC-025 G-09 S243532M; Wolfbone Pool (98098), this proposed spacing unit may overlap the following existing and proposed spacing units in these same pools:
•    A 160-acre horizontal well spacing units comprised of the E2E2 of Section 16, Township 24 South, Range 35 East, dedicated to the Angus State 24-35 16 456H (30-025-44607) and the Angus State 24-35 16 605H (30-025-44606) wells operated by COG Operating, LLC; and
•    A 360-acre horizontal well spacing unit comprise of the E2 of Section 21 and the NW4NE4 of Section 28 proposed by MRC Permian for the John Callahan Fed Com 139H, 209H and 219H wells.

Applicant in the above-styled cause seeks an order (a) approving a standard 320-acre, more or less, overlapping horizontal well spacing unit in the Wolfcamp formation comprised of E2E2 of Sections 16 and 21, Township 24 South, Range 35 East, NMPM, Lea County, New Mexico, and (b) pooling all uncommitted mineral interests in this overlapping horizontal well spacing unit. Said unit will be initially dedicated to the proposed John Callahan Fed Com 224H well, to be horizontally drilled from a surface location in the in the SE4 of Section 21, with a first take point located in the SE4SE4 (Unit P) of Section 21 and a last take point located NE4NE4 (Unit A) of Section 16. Since the Division has informed Applicant that this well will be assigned to the LWR Bone Spring Pool (Code 98275) and the WC-025 G-09 S243532M; Wolfbone Pool (98098), this proposed spacing unit will therefore overlap the following existing and proposed spacing units for these same pools:
