06/13/2017 2RP-4245 C-141 received 6/09/2017 for release 06/06/2017. Cause listed as, “The release was due to a gasket failure on the free water knockout inside the battery. The gasket has been replaced. ” The area affected listed as, “This release occurred within the bermed area of the battery and an overspray impacted the pasture. A vacuum truck was dispatched to remove all freestanding fluids. Concho will have the spill site sampled to delineate any possible contamination from the release and we will present a remediation work plan to the NMOCD for approval prior to any significant remediation work. ”
