11/16/2022 The (11/16/2022, IM-BNF) application [159347] was assigned to this incident.
10/13/2017 2RP-4441 C-141 received 10/12/2017 for release 10/6/2017. Cause listed as, ‘A nipple on the filter pot drain line sheared off resulting in the loss of approximately 82 bbls of produced water into the lined containment. Approximately 80bbls of produced water were recovered. The nipple was replaced and the line was put back into service. ” The area affected listed as, “All of the fluid remained inside of the lined containment. A vacuum truck was dispatched to recover all freestanding fluids. Concho will have the spill area evaluated for any possible impact from the release and we will present a remediation work plan to the NMOCD and NMSLO for approval prior to any significant remediation activities. ”
