Incident Events

Date Detail
02/08/2024 XTO’s deferral requests final remediation for Incident Numbers NAPP2317832586 until the site is reconstructed, and/or the well pad is abandoned. Ensolum and XTO do not believe deferment will result in imminent risk to human health, the environment, or groundwater. The area requested for deferral is the impacted soil beneath active production equipment and surface piping, where remediation would require a major facility deconstruction (Figure 4). The area has been delineated and documented in the report. At this time, OCD approves this request. The Deferral Request and C-141 will be accepted for record and marked accordingly. The release will remain open in OCD database files and reflect an open environmental issue.
