02/26/2025 Corrective actions provided by the operator: Corrective measures focused on reducing gas production as quickly and safely as possible to minimize the duration and volume of gas flared. Equipment settings were adjusted, and compressors were restarted to cease the flaring event.
02/26/2025 Steps taken to prevent waste provided by the operator: Production of wells associated with this compressor station were curtailed and the operator made adjustments to the pressure control valves and restarted the compressors to end the flaring event. Chevron field personnel executed practicable measures to minimize emissions.
02/26/2025 Incident updated by the operator, upon the submission of a amendment for flaring of natural gas report.
