12/16/2010	Initial and Final C-141s 1RP-10-9-2607 A small hole was found in the pipeline. The pipeline was uncovered to repair the hole. All contaminated material was placed on plastic to await disposal in a Division approved facility. The affected area was approximately 100' X 30'. The area was excavated to a depth of approximately 5' BGS. Three soil samples were obtained and analyzed at Cardinal Lab in Hobbs. Lab results indicated no presence o TPH or BTEX and chloride levels were well below levels set forth by NMOCD. Results were presented to Geoff Leking at NMOCD for his review. He approved the closure of the site. The area was backfilled with clean material, contoured to match the surrounding terrain, and seeded with a custom blend of seed.
