Incident Events

Date Detail
11/14/2011 Initial C-141 - 1RP-11-11-2757 - A section of the RR-4-6-7 pipeline failed due to internal pitting and corrosion. The majority of the corrosion was on the top portion of the pipeline. This pipeline is used mainly to transport overhead gas flow from the Linam Ranch GP Stabilizer to the gathering system to be recompressed by the Monument Booster Station. The pipeline was isolated and depressured as expeditiously and safely as possible following event notification. The area of the spill was approximately 75' in a flowing radial pattern. The most recent contamination is being removed as quickly as possible and disposed in an OCD approved facility. There is an amount of existing contamination that is also being addressed at this time. That material will be removed and disposed accordingly.
