The New Mexico Oil Conservation Division is pleased to announce a new layout for the Wells.aspx well search and OperatorSearch.aspx operator search pages. This update is part of our ongoing effort to improve usability, clarity, and site performance while maintaining access to all existing information.
Key Changes Include:
- Ease of Use: The updated layout provides cleaner and clearer set of search option to help users locate wells and operators more efficiently. All previous search options remain available.
- Enhanced Functionality:
- Search wells using a partial API number
- Search OCD Mitigation Activity vendors
- Save searches for frequently used search criteria
- API Use Required for Automated Data Access: Processes which scrape the Wells.aspx or Operators.aspx pages should transition to EMNRD's API endpoints. These endpoints provide stable, structured, and reliable access to OCD data. Documentation is available at https://api.emnrd.nm.gov.
